Course Modules

The training course is implemented in 4 phases with a good mix of Knowledge, Attitude, Skill and practice sessions. Most of the sessions follow adult participatory method of training. Exposure visits are arranged to various model development sites to observe the process and impact. The participants would get hands on field experience while implementing their learning and plans in their villages.

Phase - 1 -

1 Week with complete orientation on the necessary skills.

Phase - 2 -

2 Weeks - Case studies on CNA to be dealt in detail, CNA analysis to be taught, project planning and implementation, government programmes, networking, resource mobilization, etc., to be dealt in detail with field visits.

Phase - 3 -

4 Weeks - In the field - CNA, designing and implementation of a project.

Phase - 4 -

1 Week - Debriefing and Visioning.

Opportunities

After the completion of the training course a Certificate would be provided to the candidates. With regard to opportunities, employment opportunities for these trained youth exists as

• Grass root level workers in various development programmes initiated by the Government, the Non Profit world and Corporate foundations.
• Research Assistants positions in various Agencies involved in Developmental research.
• Self entrepreneurs in social action.
• Resource persons for training of Community groups and federations.
• Resource persons for the members of Gram Panchayath Institutions.
