Youth for Development (Y4D)
"Creating Transformation Agents to Lead Development at the Grass roots in India"
"Youth for Development", is a novel training programme for youth from rural areas across Karnataka. The programme aims at building the capacity of rural youth to take a lead in community development activities in their villages. This programme started in the year 2006 draws inspiration from Swami Vivekananda’s concept of leadership and Gandhiji’s dream of micro development and self reliance.
